Francesco also pre-booked a Vineyard Tour nearby that has been a highlight of our holiday. Say no more! We would highly recommend Francesco's apartment to anyone that would like a comfortable base, with great views, to explore Siena centre and the surrounding Central Tuscany historic towns and gorgeous rolling countryside.

He mentioned that they’ve also stayed in a lot of apartment rentals and have applied what they’ve learned to this space - and it really shows! Very thoughtfully equipped. The terrace was already a win, but the master bedroom also has beautiful views of the countryside in the distance (that are difficult to capture in photos). Francesco was very helpful with local recommendations, even helping me make reservations for dinner. I can’t think of a better home away from home.

  This is such a homely apartment to stay in! Really quickly we felt at home here. (One of the reasons we love privately owned AirBNB's rather than hotels!)
It's really... read more central, but surprisingly quiet with fantastic views over the Tuscan hills from the master bedroom. It has a gorgeous terrace and sitting there to read a book on Sunday morning, while hearing the local church bells was just bliss.
The kitchen is very well equipped (great knives and pans) to make your own meals, but there are some great restaurants locally too. We loved the bakery on the corner of our street. Perfect size for our family with two teenagers.
Francesco & Leo are great hosts who responded to all are enquiries quickly. We highly recommend this lovely apartment.

  Excellent location! Francesco’s place was a good base for siena and felt spacious. He was available throughout our stay and gave us a few recommendations. Uber doesn’t work but calling... read more taxi from/to the train station was straightforward (13-15 euros). Having access to laundry was very helpful (only available for a longer stay). There is no elevator but it was not a big deal for us. We had a great stay in Siena, and we can recommend this stay!
